Situation on the front: Russian forces are attacking in six directions

Since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have carried out 94 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. According to operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, battles are ongoing in six directions of the front, with the hottest being in the Pokrovsk direction.

Artillery shelling by the Russians has struck border areas of the Sumy region, including Mezenivka, Porozok, Baranivka, and Riasne. In the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions near Lozova and Dvorichna.

Numerous attacks are occurring in the Lyman direction, particularly targeting Novoserhiivka, Zelene, Makiivka, Pershotravneve, and Terny. Defence forces have already repelled nine attacks.

Fierce fighting continues in other directions of the front: in Toretsk, Kramatorsk, and Pokrovsk, where the enemy has carried out a significant number of attacks. Over 40 attacks have already been repelled in the Pokrovsk direction.

Additionally, Ukrainian defenders repelled ten attacks in the Kursk region, where the Russians carried out artillery shelling and air strikes. There are no observed changes in the other directions of the front.
