The Ministry of Culture will allocate around 15 million hryvnias for the monitoring of Ukrainian media
In 2025, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy will conduct monitoring of information in Ukrainian media.
This is stated in the department’s order No. 35 of January 22.
As reported by sud.ua, the state enterprise "Center for Information Space Protection of Ukraine" has been instructed to ensure the preparation and implementation of information monitoring activities in domestic media from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
The department’s financial policy department has been instructed to allocate nearly 15 million hryvnias for the execution of these activities.
The allocation of funds amounts to 14 million 989.4 thousand UAH, including 1 million 362.7 thousand UAH for the maintenance of the executor’s service.
As interfax.com.ua reminds, in 2024, the Ministry of Culture also conducted activities to monitor information in Ukrainian media, for which it planned to allocate 10 million UAH.
Acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy Rostyslav Karandyeyev noted that media information monitoring by the authorities is necessary for the proper formation of information policy. According to him, this monitoring is carried out for government bodies, the Office of the President, the Cabinet of Ministers, and other ministries, including the Ministry of Culture.
