SSU officer who hit a teenager taken into custody

An SSU employee, Artur Herchak, who hit a teenager, has been remanded in custody as a preventive measure.

According to the media, citing the SSU press service, the injured boy was urgently taken to the "Ohmatdyt" hospital.

The teenager’s relatives reported that as a result of the accident, he sustained multiple leg fractures, a traumatic brain injury, and lung contusions. On the night following the accident, he underwent his first surgery on one of his legs.

According to Member of Parliament Oleksandr Dubinskyi, the driver was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.44‰.
