Ukraine will receive Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets from France by April

At the end of 2024, Ukrainian pilots and mechanics completed flight training on these aircraft. This was announced by the French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot on the air of Sud Radio.

By 2030, France plans to replace its Mirages with new Rafale fighters. That is why the country decided to transfer them to Ukraine and called on other states to do the same.

Overall, Ukraine requested the transfer of 12 Mirage 2000 units.

Previously, the French promised to send us the first three such aircraft in January 2025. However, on Tuesday, January 28, the French Foreign Ministry announced new deadlines.
