The Defence Forces have left part of the territory of the "Toretsk" mine. At the same time, the spoil tip of the mine remains under the control of Ukrainian defenders.

Military journalist Bohdan Miroshnykov reported on the situation in the city on January 30.

"A small spoil tip at the exit of the city in the western part is also controlled. Fighting continues in the remnants of Zabalka. In the Shcherbynivka-Leonidivka area, ’Azov’ is actively and around the clock destroying enemies who decided to approach or come close to their positions," Miroshnykov reported.
