Explosion near the TRC in Rivne: motives and names of the perpetrators unknown

The authorities have not yet provided any new information about the explosion at the military recruitment office in the Rivne region, where a person was killed. The causes of the explosion and the perpetrators are unknown.

Nevertheless, judging by the statement of the Head of the Ground Forces, Mykhailo Drapatyi, it can be assumed that it was an attack on the recruitment office.

Today, he published a post in which he emphasized that «there are no excuses for the murder of a serviceman and the attack on the TRC». By the murder of a serviceman, it likely refers to yesterday’s incident in the Poltava region, where a recruitment office employee was shot at a gas station.

However, Drapatyi did not clarify in any way the connection between the phrase about «the attack on the TRC» and the explosion in Rivne.

He also noted that «we cannot afford to silently observe the growing wave of disrespect towards the defenders of Ukraine».
