Missile strike on Poltava: targeted Yablunivskyi gas field, - media

One of the targets of the Russian missile strike on the Poltava region was the Yablunivka gas field, located near Lokhvytsya in the Myrhorod district.

This was reported in the media by a source from the oil and gas industry.

The exact scale and nature of the damage from the strike are unknown. However, according to the source, the gas supply to nearby settlements in the region was temporarily halted.

It should be noted that the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed on Saturday that strikes were made on gas infrastructure facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities have not officially confirmed strikes on gas facilities. However, on the morning of February 1, the Poltava Regional Military Administration reported damage to the energy infrastructure in the Myrhorod district, where the Yablunivka field is located.
