Assets of the former head of Yanukovych’s security were seized for the benefit of the state, - HACC

On February 5, 2025, the High Anti-Corruption Court confiscated the assets of the former security chief of Viktor Yanukovych for the benefit of the state. In particular, corporate rights of LLC "AMSTEL-SKI", which manages the AmstelSki Hotel Complex in Bukovel, were sanctioned.

This is stated in a statement by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

"On February 5, 2025, the High Anti-Corruption Court satisfied the lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine against Vyacheslav Zanevskyi regarding the application of the sanction provided for in paragraph 1-1 of the first part of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine ’On Sanctions’," the statement reads.

It is noted that the following assets of Zanevskyi were confiscated for the benefit of the state: 100% of the authorized capital of LLC "AMSTEL-SKI", 5 objects of intellectual property rights, 12 land plots, 2 apartments, 4 parking spaces, a vehicle, 10 units of weapons, and monetary funds equivalent to more than 300,000 UAH.

"Vyacheslav Zanevskyi is an officer of the Russian army, the former security chief of Viktor Yanukovych, owner of 100% of the corporate rights of LLC ’AMSTEL-SKI’, which manages the AmstelSki Hotel Complex in Bukovel," noted the Ministry of Justice.

According to the statement, after the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he organized security measures during the construction of military-logistical infrastructure facilities in the temporarily occupied territories, which have strategic significance for Russia. In particular, this refers to the construction of a bridge over the Kalmius River in Mariupol, which is part of the land route from Rostov-on-Don to temporarily occupied Crimea.

"In addition, Zanevskyi directly assisted the Russian armed forces in search activities to identify citizens of Ukraine - military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participants of the ATO, and other patriotically-minded citizens of Ukraine who are in temporarily occupied territories," the post noted.
