Over the past year and a half, the Russians have been unable to advance on the Siversk front despite having more advantageous positions and superiority in personnel. The reason lies in the exceptionally high losses suffered by the Russian forces here: the loss ratio is 1 to 10.

This leads to increased demoralization among the occupiers. Recently, fighters from the National Guard brigade "Rubizh" captured a significant number of prisoners of war here: they simply do not want to fight. This was reported by the commander of the unmanned systems battalion "Antares" of the 4th NGU brigade "Rubizh," Ruslan Piddubnyi, on the air of the telethon.

On the Siversk front, according to him, the Russian forces continue attempts to break through the Ukrainian defence. Another offensive ended with replenishing the exchange fund for returning Ukrainian soldiers from Russian captivity.

"The enemy again attempted to launch an offensive with small groups on certain sectors. But we managed to completely stop them, repel them, and a large number of enemy personnel were captured by us. According to the prisoners, their morale and psychological state is at a low level. The group that surrendered says they have no desire to fight because in this direction - Spirne, Verkhniokamyanske, and so on - they suffer very heavy losses," Piddubnyi reported.

He added: despite advantages - more advantageous positions and a larger number of personnel - the Russians are unable to advance on the Siverskyi front. They suffer losses too effectively.

"On the Siversk front, over the past year and a half, the Russians have not made any advancements. The enemy suffers losses of 1:10, meaning one is us, ten is enemy losses. And it should be understood that even if you have a large army, sooner or later the resources will run out. This is happening now on the Siverskyi front. Geographically, the situation is better for the enemy, there are no questions there. But in terms of advancing on us... The "Rubizh" brigade is a resilient unit, let them try further - they will suffer even greater losses," emphasized the commander of the unmanned systems battalion "Antares."
