The range of enemy drones on fiber optics now exceeds 30 kilometers, - military

Drones from Russia, connected to fiber optic cables, are capable of flying over 30 kilometers.

This was reported on social media by an officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the pseudonym Alex.

He noted that near Vovchansk, such a Russian drone was able to hit a Ukrainian armored vehicle by flying into a hangar located approximately thirty kilometers from the front line.

According to him, the Russians "are currently significantly ahead in the field of fiber optic drones and continue to develop this technology, conducting flights over even greater distances, so ignoring equipment protection is not advisable."
