Defence forces delivered a powerful counterstrike against the Russians near Pokrovsk, - AFU

Ukrainian forces continue to conduct successful counterattacks in the Pokrovsk direction, forcing Russian units to abandon their positions.

This was reported by a Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman with the call sign "Muchnyi" on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the enemy suffered significant losses in the areas of Pishchane and Zvirove, and in some sections, simply retreated. The most successful actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were noted in the area of Pishchane, where Ukrainian forces advanced 700 meters into the western part of the village. Intense fighting continues there, but a significant part of the settlement is already under Ukraine’s control.

During this time, Russian troops attempted to advance in the Udachne area, but their progress was only 200 meters, after which they came under attacks from Ukrainian FPV drones and mortars. The enemy suffered serious losses.

"Muchnyi" writes that in the section northeast of Kotlyne, Russian forces were defeated by the Ukrainian offensive. Some simply abandoned their positions, while part of the forces tried to hold positions in the industrial area and in forest plantations, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces consistently drive them out.

The serviceman added that in the area of Zvirove, Russian forces were also defeated, part of the occupants was eliminated, and those who survived quickly retreated. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting successful local attacks in the areas of Dachne and Lysivka, where several Russian soldiers were captured during raids.
