After another escape attempt by the general through the MMC, the President terminated further such attempts manually at the stage of General Pavlyuk, who was also trying to "exit" through the MMC. Now many generals are in reserve and suffering from the inability to be discharged "for health reasons," but they do not want to go to the front with a demotion.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, 41 senior officers have been discharged from military service into the reserve due to health reasons – this information was provided by the Main Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in response to a request by Radio Svoboda.

These are the data for the period from February 24, 2022, to August 1, 2024.

"According to the data provided by the Personnel Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is reported as follows: during the period from February 24, 2022, to August 1, 2024, 41 senior officers have been discharged from military service into the reserve due to health reasons, during the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine," the response states.

Also, during this period, one senior officer was accepted into military service.
