The occupiers attacked police officers in Kherson with a drone

On February 15, Russian occupiers attacked the Kherson region and the regional center. In Kherson, police officers came under enemy fire.

Two police officers were injured. Details were reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kherson region.

According to law enforcement officers, the day before, Russian invaders carried out strikes on civilian infrastructure in Kherson and Beryslav districts. The occupiers targeted residential areas and vehicles using artillery, multiple rocket launch systems, and UAVs.

Kherson, Antonivka, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovskyi, and Sadove suffered from enemy attacks. Damage was recorded to one apartment building and four private houses, two educational institutions, shops, and transport facilities.

In Kherson, invaders attacked police officers.

"Russian military attacked the police with an FPV drone in the Korabelnyi district. Two officers received shrapnel injuries. Currently, there is no threat to their lives, they are in the hospital," regional police management said.

In the regional center, a school, an apartment building, and two private houses were also damaged due to enemy attacks. Using an FPV-type drone, Russian military struck the building of one of the universities in the city.

In Antonivka, artillery fire from Russian troops damaged a truck, a store, and a private house. Additionally, in the settlement, Russian troops struck a car with an FPV drone, no casualties were reported.

Antonivka also suffered from strikes using multiple rocket launch systems, damaging a private house.

"All services promptly participated in eliminating the consequences of enemy shelling, and the police collected evidence of war crimes by Russian military. Over the past 24 hours, the police responded to 227 reports and notifications from citizens about criminal offenses and other incidents. Twelve cases were opened under Article 438 ’War Crimes’ of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the police noted.

Law enforcement also reported the death of a 50-year-old man. Due to enemy action on February 10 in Antonivka, he sustained a severe traumatic brain injury.

"The man was taken to a hospital in Mykolaiv. Unfortunately, doctors could not save him – yesterday, the Kherson resident died in the medical facility," the message stated.
