Ukraine will receive Giraffe radars from Ireland
Ireland to deliver Giraffe radar stations to Ukraine.
This was announced by Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin during a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, reports the Office of the President.
Zelenskyy met with Martin at Shannon Airport on his way to the USA. The key topic of the conversation was taking steps to end the full-scale war with a guaranteed peace for both Ukraine and the entire of Europe. In particular, security guarantees and the unity of allies were discussed.
They also discussed air control and Ireland’s participation in the coalition for demining and the EU training mission for training Ukrainian military personnel. Additionally, they discussed the construction of shelters in schools, support for the school meals reform, and the Ukrainian initiative to ensure food security in Syria.
