Lviv engineer Demyanyuk turned out to be a partner of pro-Russian billionaire Kurchenko

Vitaliy Demyanyuk – a Ukrainian engineer and philanthropist, as described by the Ukrainian version of “Wikipedia”, actually turned out to be a business partner of the pro-Russian billionaire Serhiy Kurchenko. Moreover, Demyanyuk’s company tried to master tens of millions of hryvnias from one of the Ukrainian nuclear power plants, even during the height of the war.

Vitaliy Demyanyuk studied in Russia. He still has a registered address there: Moscow, Tsyurupa St., 8, bldg.1, apt.295. He now lives in Switzerland. Apparently, this is due to the active work of our special services on all "Kremlin agents" who have been integrating into the socio-political and business life of Ukraine for decades, posing as "philanthropists" or "patriots". Demyanyuk’s education is also interesting. Not only did he study in Moscow, but he also attended two universities simultaneously: allegedly graduating from both the Faculty of Theoretical and Experimental Physics at the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute and the Law Faculty of Moscow State University. Although, a priori, such parallel education was impossible at that time.

Over 20 years, Vitaliy Demyanyuk integrated himself into the atomic energy sector in Ukraine: for example, he was the Deputy Head of the State Agency of Ukraine on Managing National Projects, head of the LNG terminal at the State Agency for Investment, the head of the coordinating council of the "LNG Ukraine" project, and even a member of the supervisory board and co-founder of the Chornobyl Institute of Research and Development.

Regarding his tenure at the LNG terminal, it is worth recalling that it was Demyanyuk who invited the infamous skiing instructor Jordi Sarda Bonvehi, who signed an agreement on the construction of the LNG terminal with Ukraine.

This is the public side of Demyanyuk’s biography. The non-public side indicates that Demyanyuk has direct ties with Ukraine’s traitor Serhiy Kurchenko and facilitated the latter’s illegal takeover of energy assets.

The Story of «GAZEX-Ukraine»

In 2006, Vitaliy Demyanyuk became an advisor to the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine under Minister Pavlo Kachur.

That same year, Demyanyuk was appointed General Director of the company "GAZEX-Ukraine". This is a group of regional gas distribution companies "Kharkivgas", "Kharkivmiskgaz", "Donetskmiskgaz", "Dniprogaz", "Krivorijgaz", owned by the Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg (99.9%).

In March 2010, Vitaliy Demyanyuk decided to sell shares of controlled gas distribution structures to Cypriot offshores. Although such a deal, according to the statute of "GAZEX-Ukraine", required the approval of 3/4 of the shareholders of the main company, Demyanyuk made the decision independently.

In this way, a raider takeover of the multi-million dollar energy business took place in favor of Kurchenko. Subsequently, Demyanyuk and Kurchenko’s lawyers, acting together, facilitated the initiation of numerous criminal cases against the former shareholders of "GAZEX-Ukraine". This made life difficult for the company’s founders and blocked Demyanyuk’s dismissal for a long time.

Present Day

And while today Demyanyuk is hiding in Switzerland, his own company LLC "NT-Engineering" is pursued for tax evasion. At the same time, in the first months of the war, nothing prevented it from gaining over 25 million UAH from the Ukrainian state budget for "engineering services" for one of the Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
