Harmful virus EvilLoader threatens Telegram accounts on Android

A vulnerability was recently discovered in Telegram for Android, allowing attackers to steal data from devices.

The EvilLoader virus disguises itself as a video file, which when opened, shows an error requesting an app update or the installation of an additional player. As a result of the device being infected, all user data can be stolen.

Such viruses often spread through fake bots, for example, those offering "free subscription to Telegram Premium." To protect yourself, it is recommended to disable the auto-download of files and videos in the app settings.
