The HACC confiscated the assets of the "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping"

The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has decided to confiscate a number of assets of the federal autonomous institution "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping" (RS) in Ukraine in accordance with the law "On Sanctions."

This decision was made by a panel of HACC judges on March 5, partially satisfying the claim of the Ministry of Justice, reports the court’s press service.

According to the court’s decision, the following assets have been transferred to state revenue:

  • 100% of the shares of PJSC "Maritime Register of Shipping" (located in Sevastopol);
  • 100% of the shares of PJSC "Maritime Register of Shipping in Ukraine" (located in Odesa);
  • 100% of the authorized capital of LLC "Maritime Registry Bureau" (located in Odesa), owned by PJSC "Maritime Register of Shipping in Ukraine";
  • The creditor’s rights of the "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping" and "Maritime Register of Shipping in Ukraine" against the "International Reserve Bank" (formerly "Sberbank") amounting to 1.13 million UAH;
  • The claims of PJSC "Maritime Register of Shipping in Ukraine" against the "Finance and Credit" bank amounting to 11.79 million UAH;
  • Funds amounting to 14.96 thousand rubles in the "Maritime Register of Shipping in Ukraine" account at "Radabank," as well as 6.71 million UAH and 483.6 thousand euros transferred under the management of ARMA;
  • State bonds amounting to $336,000 and 3.02 million euros, acquired by ARMA with funds transferred to the National Agency from PJSC "Maritime Register of Shipping in Ukraine";
  • Premises with an area of 107.6 square meters in Kherson, a non-residential premise with an area of 337.3 square meters in Mykolaiv, and a 33/100 share in the joint partial ownership of an administrative building in Odesa with an area of 5523 square meters, owned by PJSC "Maritime Register of Shipping in Ukraine";
  • An administrative building with an area of 1527.6 square meters, as well as shares in joint partial ownership of two other administrative buildings in Sevastopol and a share of ownership of a non-residential building in Kerch, owned by PJSC "Maritime Register of Shipping";
  • A non-residential premise in Izmail with an area of 911.6 square meters, owned by PJSC "Maritime Register of Shipping in Ukraine";
  • Eight vehicles owned by PJSC "Maritime Register of Shipping in Ukraine."

The press service of the Ministry of Justice explained that the FAU "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping" is a leading organization in Russia in the field of shipping. It is engaged in the classification of sea vessels, technical supervision over them, and the issuance of necessary documents, certificates, and acts, including for the Russian Navy vessels.

The institution is also involved in the certification of floating structures, ship mechanisms, equipment, and devices. Additionally, the "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping" actively participated in the implementation of all oil and gas projects in Russia.

It was previously reported that the HACC satisfied the claim for the application of a sanction in the form of the recovery of assets of PJSC "Tatneft named after V.D. Shashin," one of the largest Russian oil companies, in favor of the state.
