U.S. President Donald Trump gave an interview to Fox News journalist Maria Bartiromo and answered questions about Ukraine and Russia.

The journalist asked whether Trump was concerned that Ukraine might not survive after he refused to help the country.

“Well, it might not survive anyway,” — Trump responded.

Following this, the U.S. President said that the war between Russia and Ukraine should not have happened but it did, “and now we are stuck in this mess.”

Bartiromo also noted that both Ukraine and Israel have been attacked by aggressors. She asked whether America treats both countries and their aggressors equally.

“I think so… Listen, they’re very different places. Different levels of impact, different parts of the world. The Middle East has always been under attack,” — Trump stated.

The journalist then asked if Trump is equally tough on Hamas and Russia.

“I was much tougher… I think I was very tough on Russia, tougher than anyone… I stopped the pipeline, Nord Stream 2. Before me, they were building it quietly, planning to supply Germany and everyone in Europe, and I stopped it,” — he claimed.
