In the Volyn region, underground diesel fuel traders and a gas station without a license were uncovered

In the Volyn region, illegal sellers of doubtful quality diesel fuel were exposed. Some of them were selling fuel directly from special tanks of 1,000 liters installed in vehicles – at a reduced price.

This was reported by the Bureau of Economic Security (BES). They noted that these tanks were equipped with:

• pumping systems;
• fuel dispensing guns.

"With this vehicle, they arrived at the location previously agreed upon by the buyers. The excise goods were sold at a price significantly lower than the market rate," the report says.

It is also noted that another local resident was caught selling diesel fuel without the appropriate license.

"BES detectives conducted sanctioned searches based on these two facts of excise goods realization. As a result, more than 10 tons of doubtful quality diesel fuel, vouchers for nearly 70,000 liters of fuel, cash, 138 payment cards of different banks, rough notes, etc., were discovered and seized. The seized commodity-material values have been arrested," law enforcement reported.

A "dangerous" gas station was exposed in Ukraine

Earlier in Kyiv, an illegal gas station was uncovered – it was operating without licenses for storing and selling fuel. During searches, more than 6.3 tons of resources were seized, and special equipment was dismantled. Currently, the activity of the filling station has been halted.

Moreover, in Kyiv, another gas station was exposed, which was operating without the necessary documents. As a result of the search conducted at the station, the following were seized:

• more than 7.3 thousand liters of gasoline;
• 3.2 thousand liters of diesel fuel;
• 5 fuel dispensing complexes;
• money received from the illegal activity;
• financial and economic documentation;
• computer equipment;
• rough notes.

"The approximate value of the seized fuel and lubricants is nearly half a million hryvnias. The individuals and business entities involved in the illegal activity are being identified," law enforcement reported.
