At night, the occupiers attacked the Kyiv region with "Shaheds": a fire at a manufacturing enterprise is reported

On the night of Sunday, March 16, the army of the aggressor country Russia carried out an attack on the Kyiv region using strike UAVs. Air defence systems were activated in the region, and enemy targets were shot down. A fire occurred in the Fastiv district at a production facility, which was extinguished.

This was reported by the acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Mykola Kalashnyk. The official noted that the alert in the Kyiv region was declared twice during the night and lasted for more than seven hours.

"Air defence forces were active in the region. Enemy targets were shot down," Mykola Kalashnyk reported.

He added that there were no casualties among the population.

No interference in critical and residential infrastructure objects was recorded.

Meanwhile, in the Fastiv district, a fire broke out at a production facility due to the Russian attack. The fire was extinguished.

Emergency services continue to work on identifying and eliminating the consequences of the attack, Kalashnyk stated, urging Kyiv region residents not to ignore air raid warnings and to remain in shelters until the danger passes.
