Former Deputy Head of the SFS wrote off over 641 million hryvnias in taxes

NABU and SAPO have announced suspicion against the former first deputy head of the State Fiscal Service for abuse of office, which led to significant financial losses for the state.

According to the investigation, a business entity filed a complaint with the SFS regarding a tax payment decision. The suspect, having the exclusive right to sign decisions based on the review of complaints and acting in the interests of the business entity, deliberately did not sign the prepared draft decision within the established time frame. As a result, the complaint was automatically satisfied, and the budget lost the opportunity to collect taxes and fines amounting to over 641 million UAH.
