Telegram channel "Joker" has been blocked after publishing personal data of businessman Shamotiy

The Telegram channel «Joker» was blocked after the publication of personal data of Dnipropetrovsk businessman Valeriy Shamotiy, the owner of the restaurant «Bartolomeo», who was affected by a «shahed» strike.

The publication included the personal phone number of the businessman.

In particular, on March 27, the channel published a photo of the Russian passport of Andriy Zasukha — a member of the executive committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football and the son of former head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Zasukha.

This incident was only the latest in a series of publications by the channel, which had previously repeatedly published personal data of individuals. Specifically, the channel was involved in a campaign to discredit Uklon taxi service when it published personal information of the company’s drivers after Uklon accused «Joker» of extorting $200,000.

Currently, the channel is blocked, and details of further actions regarding the investigation have not yet been disclosed.
