Venislavskyi believes that the Russian Federation lacks the resources for a large-scale offensive
The Ukrainian leadership is sending mixed signals regarding a possible Russian offensive.
While Zelenskyy and some military officials claim it might happen in April-May, a former representative of the president in the Rada believes that the offensive won’t happen at all.
MP Venislavskyi believes that Russia lacks the resources for a large-scale offensive, and talks of its preparation are a way to exert pressure on the West during negotiations.
"Their desires and plans, which they are trying to instill in the minds of European partners to force concessions, I think, are not a decisive factor for us. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to neutralize any threats," stated the member of the defence committee.
