Wanted in Ukraine, Pin-Up owner Dmitriy Punin has come under scrutiny by Turkish law enforcement

The Turkish authorities blocked Russian RuTube due to advertising illegal Pin-Up casino.

The video service had previously stopped opening in the country. Upon attempting to access it, a notice about violation of gambling laws appeared.

Turkish law enforcement stated that they are investigating the activities of the online casino Pin-Up, suspected of laundering millions of dollars monthly.

According to the investigation, the casino earns between $30 to $50 million in Turkey and over $200 million worldwide.

Offshore companies in Cyprus and frequent changes of websites are used to conceal the income.

The main suspects are Dmitriy Punin, Aleksandr Matyashov, Ivan Bannikov, and Marina Ilina.

Despite the bans, the illegal Pin-UP continues to attract customers in Turkey through cryptocurrencies, anonymous payment systems, and advertising on social media, using a license issued by the Kazakhstani regulator as a cover.

The legitimacy of the license was checked by the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan. It was the advertisement of Pin-UP on RuTube that led to the platform’s blocking in Turkey, striking a blow to its international ambitions.
