As a result of the night shelling of Dnipro, eight people sought medical help, two of whom are being treated on an outpatient basis, while six remain in the medical facility.
This was reported to journalists by Doctor Ivan (for safety reasons, his last name and the name of the facility are not disclosed).
"After the shelling, eight patients with varying degrees of severity were admitted to the hospital. Two of them had minor injuries, one was immediately referred for outpatient treatment, and one female patient has already been discharged in satisfactory condition. Currently, six patients remain in the hospital, most of whom are in a state of moderate stable condition," noted the doctor.
The patients sustained various injuries, mainly explosive injuries, concussions, and shrapnel wounds from glass and debris. Four patients underwent surgical treatment of wounds and removal of debris. There is no threat to life, the condition of the patients is stable.
As the Dnipro city mayor Borys Filatov reported on Telegram, utility services and special equipment are working at the sites of enemy strikes. The elimination of the consequences is almost complete now.
"More than 50 tons of construction debris, glass, and destroyed trees have been removed from the streets and yards. Tow trucks are also removing numerous burnt-out cars of the city’s residents. In apartment buildings where more than 560 windows were broken, utility workers are covering everything with film and taking measurements for the installation of new window units," he wrote.
As a result of the night attack, one of the schools was also damaged. An outpatient clinic, which the city repaired just last year, was also damaged. According to Filatov, the medical facility will resume its operations tomorrow.
