Yanukovych is hiding in the elite settlement of Barvikha near Moscow, - Office of the Prosecutor General
According to the information provided by the Office of the Prosecutor General, former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych resides in Russia, in the village of Barvikha, Moscow region.
This statement was made by Denys Ivanov, Deputy Head of the Department for Maidan Affairs of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, in a comment to the Interfax-Ukraine agency on April 28, as stated in the report.
"According to our information, he is located in the Moscow region: the village of Barvikha in the Odintsovo district," stated Denys Ivanov.
The representative of the Office of the Prosecutor General informed journalists about the whereabouts of the former head of state during the announcement of the verdict to the ex-president and the former deputy head of the State Security Administration of Ukraine, Kostyantyn Kobzar, who was the head of Yanukovych’s security service during his illegal departure abroad.
According to Denys Ivanov, Kobzar currently resides in Moscow itself.
