Bitcoin "crossed" the price threshold of $100,000
The value of the world’s largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, has once again exceeded the mark of 100,000 dollars per unit of digital currency.
This is according to data from the CoinDesk platform.
As of 18:29, the price of Bitcoin stood at 100,794 dollars. The last time the cryptocurrency was traded at this level was in January 2025.
The cryptocurrency’s market capitalization amounted to slightly more than 2 trillion dollars.
Meanwhile, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, has exceeded the mark of 2,000 dollars per unit. In one day, this crypto asset increased in price by over 11%.
