Named a "devil": Bezuhla filed a complaint against Buzhanskyi with the SSU for a pro-Russian greeting

Today, on May 9, Member of Parliament Maryana Bezuhla responded to a post by MP from the "Servant of the People" faction Maksym Buzhanskyi, in which he congratulated "brothers" in Russian on "Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War."

"I’m reporting this devil to the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU). Just let them not react. Let me remind you, a week ago he was coordinating the voting of several dozen ’servants’ in the Verkhovna Rada," Maryana Bezuhla wrote.

On May 9, Buzhanskyi congratulated Ukrainians with the Soviet slogan "с Днём Победы" (Happy Victory Day), which is now associated with Russian military propaganda. The aggressor country uses such phrases to justify its invasion of Ukraine and glorify the army that commits war crimes.

On the same day, when traditional parades were held in Russia and dictator Vladimir Putin gave speeches praising his troops and ignoring Ukraine’s role in the victory over Nazism, Buzhanskyi publicly addressed his "brothers."

Buzhanskyi was the only Member of the Verkhovna Rada who did not support the bill to recognize May 8 as the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism.
