Minimum wage in Ukraine: when will it rise to 10,000 hryvnias

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has established the sizes of social standards for the next three years. These figures will form the basis for salary formation, wage indexation, and social payments.

This is reported in the materials of the Ministry of Finance.

"Minimum Salary" and Subsistence Minimum

According to the calculations of the department, the minimum salaries during 2026–2028 are as follows:

• in 2026 — 8688 UAH;
• in 2027 — 9374 UAH;
• in 2028 — 10,059 UAH.

Salaries of employees of the first tariff category of the Unified Tariff Grid:

• in 2026 — 3470 UAH;
• in 2027 — 3744 UAH;
• in 2028 — 4018 UAH.

The size of the subsistence minimum was calculated taking into account the increase in the consumer price index.

Per person:

• in 2026 — 3171 UAH;
• in 2027 — 3358 UAH;
• in 2028 — 3536 UAH.

For children under six years old:

• in 2026 — 2783 UAH;
• in 2027 — 2947 UAH;
• in 2028 — 3103 UAH.

For children aged 6-17 years:

• in 2026 — 3471 UAH;
• in 2027 — 3676 UAH;
• in 2028 — 3871 UAH.

For able-bodied individuals:

• in 2026 — 3288 UAH;
• in 2027 — 3482 UAH;
• in 2028 — 3667 UAH.

For persons who have lost their ability to work:

• in 2026 — 2564 UAH;
• in 2027 — 2715 UAH;
• in 2028 — 2859 UAH.

The sizes of subsistence minimum provision for determining social assistance according to the law "On State Social Assistance to Low-Income Families" will be in percentages:

• 60% of the subsistence minimum — able-bodied individuals;
• 100% of the subsistence minimum — persons who have lost their ability to work and persons with disabilities;
• 145% of the subsistence minimum — children.
