The occupiers struck civilians in Kupyansk, there are injured

In Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, three civilians were injured as a result of a Russian air strike on a private residential area.

This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram.

“Under the procedural guidance of the Kupyansk District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv Region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated on the fact of a war crime (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the message states.

According to the investigation, on May 18 at around 9:30 am, the armed forces of the aggressor country carried out an air strike on a private residential area in Kupyansk.

The aerial munition hit the road near a house, as a result of which a 55-year-old man sustained an explosive injury. Two women aged 75 and 55 experienced acute shock.

In the city, residential buildings and utility structures were damaged. Preliminary information suggests that the enemy used a FAB-500 with UMPK for the strike.
