The Russian Federation is preparing to launch an intercontinental ballistic missile — DIU

Russia plans to conduct a so-called «training-combat» launch of the RS-24 intercontinental ballistic missile from the «Yars» missile complex at night.

This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the aim of the launch is psychological pressure and an attempt to intimidate both Ukraine and the member countries of the European Union and NATO.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine emphasizes that such actions are part of the Kremlin’s nuclear blackmail strategy and military escalation aimed at increasing tension in the region.

Russia has previously repeatedly resorted to demonstrative launches of strategic missiles, accompanied by statements about the combat readiness of nuclear forces. However, the international community has repeatedly condemned such actions as destabilizing and dangerous.
