The enemy attacked Mykolaiv with strike UAVs: hit a high-rise building, one person was killed

On the night of May 25, Russia launched an attack on Mykolaiv using strike drones.

Following the air raid warning and alert from the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, explosions were heard in the district.

The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, reported that an ambulance was called in the city, and the relevant services were working.

According to eyewitnesses, there is destruction of a residential building in the Zavodskyi district, and a fire broke out on the upper floors.

Local media are publishing photos and videos of the aftermath of the drone strike.

The mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Syenkevych, reported damage to residential buildings.

"There is damage in the residential sector. We are working to assess the consequences. More information to follow," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Due to the Russian attack on Mykolaiv, one person was killed, and 5 people were injured, according to the State Emergency Service.

"As a result of the nighttime UAV attack, there was a hit on a five-story residential building. A fire broke out over an area of 50 sq.m.," rescuers reported.

The body of a deceased man born in 1948 was unblocked. Five people were injured, among them a teenager, added the Service.

"Two floors were destroyed, and others were damaged. Two women were rescued from the rubble, one was hospitalized in serious condition, and psychologists are working with the other. 210 residents were evacuated," the State Emergency Service reported.
