The court found Mustafa Nayem guilty of drunk driving — a fine of 17,000 hryvnias

Mustafa Nayem was found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The corresponding decision was made by the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv on May 13.

According to the case materials, on the night of May 30, 2024, Nayem was driving a BMW on Mykhailivskyi Boulevard. Patrol police stopped the car, and testing with a "Drager" device recorded 0.62 per mille of alcohol in his blood.

Nayem did not appear at the court hearing, sending his lawyer instead. The defense requested the case be dismissed, citing alleged malfunction of the device and absence of an administrative offense. However, the court found Nayem’s guilt proven based on the protocol and the examination report on intoxication.

As a result, the politician was fined 17,000 UAH with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles and was also ordered to pay 605 UAH in court fees.
