Customs officers from Volyn to be tried for 53 million hryvnias in damages, — NABU

Two officials from the Volyn Customs have been charged — they will be tried for causing damage to the state exceeding 53 million UAH.

According to the investigation, the officials allowed the import of goods without proper control.

They understated the customs value and allowed the clearance of shipments with significant tax losses for the budget.

This scheme was in operation in 2022. The importing company brought in goods at reduced prices, and the customs officials turned a blind eye to it.
