At night, the Russian Federation attacked with drones from three directions: Air Defence Forces neutralized 56 UAVs

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

During the attack, the drones were launched from the directions of the Russian cities Millerovo, Orel, and Kursk.

A distinctive feature of the air attack was that the enemy targeted objects in the frontline areas.

To counter the attack, the following were engaged:

• anti-aircraft missile forces;
• units of electronic warfare (EW) and unmanned systems;
• mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

As of 09:30, air defence neutralized 56 drones in the east and north of the country, including:

• 10 were destroyed by fire means;
• 46 were locally lost/suppressed by EW.

Drone strikes were recorded in 9 frontline locations in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions.
