A unique special operation "Spider Web", as a result of which the Security Service of Ukraine struck 41 Russian strategic aviation aircraft, was prepared for more than a year and a half.

This was reported by sources close to the security service.

The operation was personally coordinated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the implementation of the plan was led by the head of the SSU, Vasyl Maliuk, together with a team of agency specialists.

According to the sources, this was one of the most complex operations in terms of logistics. Initially, FPV drones were covertly transported to Russia, followed by mobile wooden cabins. Inside Russia, the drones were hidden under the roofs of these cabins, which were mounted on trucks. At the designated moment, the roofs were remotely opened, and the drones struck the strategic Russian bombers.

Journalists have obtained unique photos of the drones’ preparation for the attack, confirming the scale and complexity of this operation.

Sources in the SSU also emphasized that all participants of the operation have long been on Ukrainian territory. If Russia starts demonstratively "detaining" someone, it will be nothing more than a propaganda show for domestic consumption.
