Commander of the Ground Forces Drapatyi submitted a resignation letter

He wrote about it on his Telegram.

"This is a conscious step, dictated by my personal sense of responsibility for the tragedy at the 239th training ground, which resulted in the death of our soldiers. As a commander, I was unable to fully ensure the execution of my orders," he wrote.

Mykhailo Drapatyi reported 12 dead:

"These are young guys from the training battalion. Most of them were in shelters.

I initiated a check of all the circumstances of the tragedy. We will not win this war if we do not build an army where honor is not just a word."
