During the night shelling in the Cherkasy region, UAV debris damaged power lines
The Defence Forces shot down three Russian missiles and 22 drones overnight in the sky over Cherkasy region, with drone debris damaging a power line.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.
“Our region was under threat all night. The enemy carried out a combined attack on Ukraine. Three Russian missiles and 22 UAVs were destroyed in our territory. No injuries were reported. That is the most important thing. As a result of a drone debris fall in the Zvenyhorodka area, power lines were damaged, but they were promptly restored,” wrote Taburets.
He added that windows were also shattered in a private house in the Uman district.
“The inspection of the area is ongoing,” the head of the RMA noted.
