In Odesa, the death toll has increased as a result of the Russian attack

This was reported with reference to the State Emergency Service press office in the Odesa region and the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

Initially, it was reported that one person had died, but later the number of victims increased to two.

As a result of the shelling, large-scale fires occurred. Russian drones targeted civilian objects, including a maternity hospital, residential buildings, an emergency medical station, and a fire was reported at the Odesa Zoo.

At least 9 people were injured, and another 9 were rescued thanks to the actions of rescuers. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service were working on-site, providing support to local residents.

To eliminate the consequences of the attack, 27 units of equipment and 108 rescuers from the State Emergency Service, as well as 3 units of equipment and 15 individuals from the National Guard and volunteers, were involved.

The prosecutor’s office added that two men died as a result of the attack. Nine people were injured: among them are five women and three men with injuries, and another resident experienced an acute stress reaction.

According to preliminary data, the occupiers used more than 10 strike drones.

Currently, an inspection of the damaged objects is underway, and a complete list of destructions is being compiled. Prosecutors, along with other law enforcement officers, are working on the scene, documenting the consequences of Russian armed aggression.

The Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office has opened a criminal investigation into a war crime that led to the loss of life.
