Zelenskyy on the overnight attack: dozens of injured, residential buildings and commercial objects were on fire

On the night of June 20th, Russian terrorists carried out a massive attack on Odesa, Kharkiv, and their outskirts. As a result of the attack, dozens of people were injured, including a fatality.

This was reported with reference to the Telegram channel of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the president, 20 people were injured in the shelling, including:

  • two children: girls aged 12 and 17;
  • three rescuers from the State Emergency Service (SES).

That night, the terrorists launched 86 drones against Ukraine, most of which were "Shaheds".

"Residential buildings, ordinary enterprises, civil infrastructure, and cars were again affected by the fire. Thanks to the rescuers: 132 workers and over 30 units of equipment were deployed on site. In the Kharkiv region, work is still ongoing," he noted.

As Zelenskyy emphasized, the Russian Federation (RF) must receive a strong response for the shelling of Ukraine, which will hit the terrorists’ ability to conduct the war.

"The G7 countries and the EU know the solution: strong pressure, sanctions against the energy sector and the shadow fleet, a cap on the price of Russian oil at 30 dollars. The sooner the sick in the Kremlin lose the ability to finance the war, the more lives we can save in Ukraine," he added.
