In Dnipro, a large-scale document forgery scheme was uncovered: a "family contract" was in operation
The National Police of Ukraine reported the uncovering of a large-scale scheme of forging official documents organized by a family from Dnipro.
About 10 individuals were involved in the illegal activity.
The perpetrators produced counterfeit documents with holographic protection, including fake forms from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police, and sold them throughout Ukraine. Some participants provided the equipment and pirated software, while others obtained genuine forms, inserted false data, and applied protective elements. Some were involved in finding clients through messengers and organized the delivery of forgeries by mail, using invented names and phone numbers.
Law enforcement conducted 40 searches in eight regions and in Kyiv. Counterfeit documents, equipment, bank cards, draft accounting records, weapons, ammunition, 4 cars, and over 1 million UAH in various currencies were seized.
The organizers of the scheme have been taken into custody without the right to bail. Other figures may be released on bail up to 5 million UAH. The investigation continues.
