The father of the deputy prosecutor of Dnipropetrovsk region unexpectedly became a businessman after his son’s transfer
After Deputy Prosecutor Ruslan Vakhitov was transferred from Kharkiv to Ivano-Frankivsk in 2016, his father suddenly began active business activities.
As it turned out, Fail Vakhitov registered as an entrepreneur literally a day before his son was appointed to the new position and opened a car service station in Kharkiv.
Although Ruslan Vakhitov himself indicated only a salary of 153,000 UAH and no property in his 2015 declaration, his parents already owned substantial assets at that time. For example, the prosecutor’s father purchased two non-residential premises (280.6 and 151.8 sq. m) and two Toyota Prado cars (2006 and 2004 models) back in 2014.
The prosecutor’s mother is no less affluent — she owns an 84.1 sq. m apartment on the central Sumskaya Street in Kharkiv (estimated value — 2 million UAH), as well as a house in the town of Lyubotyn, purchased back in 2011.
These facts raise additional questions about the rapid increase in the family’s wealth following the law enforcement officer’s career advancement.
