In Zaporizhzhya, 20 people were injured as a result of an attack by Russian drones.

This was reported by the National Police on Telegram.

"As of 15:10, there are 20 injured citizens aged 19 to 84," the report states.

The police received 44 reports of injuries and destruction of citizens’ homes and property.

Police territorial units and municipal services of the city continue to work at the scene.

The State Emergency Service reports on Facebook that rescuers in Zaporizhzhya have been eliminating the consequences of a massive Russian strike.

"Rescuers were working simultaneously at three locations. Residential buildings, an administrative building, and a building of one of the city’s higher education institutions were on fire. The blast wave destroyed the surrounding residential areas," the report states.

Rescuers have extinguished all fire outbreaks. Currently, the dismantling of structures is underway to prevent reinflammation.

In turn, the head of the emergency medical department of one of Zaporizhzhya’s medical institutions, Tetyana Kravchenko, told reporters that 11 injured people had been brought to the hospital.

"These are patients aged 20 to 66, including six women and five men. All patients are in a moderate condition with combined injuries: closed head injuries, concussions, acoustic trauma, burns to the upper and lower limbs, shrapnel wounds. Five patients have been hospitalized in specialized departments and are currently receiving all necessary inpatient treatment. Another five patients have been examined and directed to outpatient care," Kravchenko said.

She added that the condition of all the injured is stable, and medical staff is attending to their treatment. There is currently no threat to their lives. Surgical intervention has not yet been performed.
