In the direction of the Pokrovsk area in the Donetsk region, Russian occupiers have decided to abandon motorcycle assaults due to heavy losses and have switched to scooters in an effort to advance.

This was reported on Army TV by the officer of the information and communications service of the 14th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Chervona Kalyna," Maksym Bakulin.

According to him, the weather, which the Russians had hoped for, currently prevails in the zone of responsibility of the 14th Brigade. The "greenery" helps them hide better, and the dry ground allows for rapid movement.

Thanks to the weather conditions, the Russians are trying to advance more quickly, pulling up reserves and trying new tactics. In this sector of the front, the number of cases of the occupiers using motorcycles has also decreased.

"This suggests that the enemy has realized: training a motorcyclist and sending him only to lose him immediately is quite challenging. They have decided to switch to simpler and more maneuverable equipment that essentially moves at the same speed. I mean scooters. Scooters for them are this new tactic," the officer noted.
