Bondarenko confirmed receiving the notice of suspicion: calls the accusations unfounded
The former secretary of the Kyiv City Council, Volodymyr Bondarenko, confirmed that he received a notice of suspicion from the prosecutor’s office.
He wrote this in his statement published on social media.
According to him, the investigation believes that he allegedly illegally facilitated the payment of a salary to Kyiv City Council deputy from "European Solidarity" and manager of the Kyiv City Council affairs Ihor Khatskevych, as well as helped him evade military service.
Bondarenko denies the accusations and states that he was solely performing his functional duties — signing orders, payment documents, letters, etc.
He also noted that the salary Khatskevych received in the City Council was returned to the budget, and he did not receive funds from the military service position. Furthermore, according to Bondarenko, Khatskevych had an official exemption from mobilization.
