Zelenskyy announced the transformation of the executive branch as early as next week

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced upcoming changes in the executive branch.

He reported this in his evening address on July 13, commenting on the meeting with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

“Today we discussed with Denys our strategic steps for transforming the executive branch. Changes will happen. In particular, in the field of defense and in all projects aimed at strengthening the resilience of the state and society,” mentioned the head of state.

Earlier, sources reported possible reshuffles in the government, including Shmyhal transitioning to the position of Minister of Defence and the appointment of Yuliya Svyrydenko as the new Prime Minister. Merging ministries and staff rotations are also expected.
