Ukrainian hackers have disabled one of the largest drone manufacturers in Russia
Hackers from the groups "BO Team" and “Ukrainian Cyber Alliance,” supported by military intelligence specialists, successfully attacked the network and server infrastructure of one of the largest drone suppliers for the Russian army – the company “Gaskar Integration.”
In cyber-activist communities on Telegram, a message from the hacker group “BO Team,” which participated in the attack, is being shared.
Ukrainian hackers gained access to more than 47 TB of technical information regarding the manufacture of Russian drones. This includes data indicating close cooperation between the Russian drone manufacturer and China. All information on the manufacturer’s servers was destroyed, including 10 TB of backup materials.
As a result of the cyberattack, the company’s Internet, production, and accounting programs are not functioning, and the work of the development center of the “Gaskar” company is paralyzed. Additionally, at the drone manufacturing plant, all doors are locked, and employees are forced to use emergency exits.
Among the stolen data are confidential employee questionnaires, and most importantly, the complete technical documentation regarding drone production, which has been transferred to the relevant specialists of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
