In Dnipro, over 100 fraudulent call centers have been exposed: thousands of employees deceive Ukrainians, - media
In Dnipro, there are over 100 fraudulent call centers, each employing between 350 to 400 people.
This is reported by sources in law enforcement and business circles.
Although some offices focus on fraudulent schemes targeting EU countries, the primary victims remain Ukrainian citizens, particularly those in frontline and shelled regions.
The addresses mentioned where these "offices" operate include:
Vykonkomivska St., 24
Starokozatska St., 6
Shevchenko Ln., 9 (office 602)
Lamana St., 19 (3rd-5th floors)
Shevchenko St., 49 (6th-7th floors)
Kalinova St., 8d (4th floor)
and dozens of others.
According to sources, the "protection" of the activities of these call centers might be conducted by the Head of the Migration Police Department in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Ashot Avahimov. After his appointment, according to local entrepreneurs, the law enforcement structure has focused not on combating illegal activities but on putting pressure on competitive businesses through searches, inspections, and seizure of documentation.
It’s also noted that some criminal investigation cases might have been transferred to the migration police to create closure statistics.
Official comments from law enforcement agencies on this information are currently missing.
