President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his evening address, spoke about the first actions of the updated composition of the National Security and Defence Council. According to him, new sanction measures will be adopted in the near future, as well as decisions to enhance the level of economic cooperation.

"I discussed the issues with NSDC Secretary Rustem Umyerov. After changing the composition of the Council, we are preparing specific steps. Sanctions will be implemented soon. We will discuss the economic initiatives tomorrow with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. We plan to approve the necessary documents already on Monday," said the head of state.

In addition, Zelenskyy mentioned a report by the Minister of Foreign Affairs on international coordination of sanctions. Particular attention was paid to coordinating the new EU sanctions package with the actions of European countries not part of the bloc.

"We strive for the sanctions policy to be coordinated not only within the EU but also in a broader international context. Gave a clear directive - to act as quickly as possible," the president emphasized.

He also noted the significance of agreements with the USA, especially with Donald Trump. Zelenskyy confirmed Ukraine’s readiness to promptly fulfill all agreed points - both in the field of air defense and in the supply and procurement of weapons.

"We not only expect support from the United States but are also ready to export our highly effective military products to America. First and foremost, this concerns Ukrainian drones, which have already proven their effectiveness on the battlefield. We have also intensified the development of interception systems. I hope that we will sign several new contracts next week," Zelenskyy added.
