Germany, Sweden, Canada, and Norway are increasing military support for Ukraine, - Shmyhal

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal stated that the results of the latest meeting in the "Ramstein" format confirm that the free world continues to stand with Ukraine and peace.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine announced the key decisions of the partners after the meeting:

• Germany will transfer over 200,000 shells for Gepard air defense systems to Ukraine, and also finance the purchase of Ukrainian long-range drones.

• Sweden is preparing a new package of military assistance, which will include air defense systems, artillery, and equipment.

• Canada is allocating 20 million Canadian dollars for the maintenance of Ukrainian tanks.

• In 2025, Norway plans to allocate 1 billion euros for the purchase of drones, of which 400 million will be used to purchase drones from the domestic Ukrainian defense industry.

The Ukrainian side expressed gratitude to international partners for their unwavering support and strengthening of the state’s defense capabilities in the face of a full-scale war with Russia.
